My values as a sport psychologist lie with a person-first approach where I emphasise the importance of understanding the ways individuals work and how their environment influences their wellbeing and performance in order to best support their needs. I have experienced the demands of sport previously as an academy footballer myself where I struggled throughout with injuries and setbacks without the support that is now accessible today. My playing experience led me to my coaching career where I was able to provide wellbeing support to my players. Now as a sport psychologist in training I am able to provide a holistic and evidence-based approach to best support athletes.
